Hi! It's nice to meet you!

I often introduce myself by saying that I'm all about Love, from birth through transformation.

We all have a story, and mine was not a pleasant one for many of my early years. On the outside we looked like the Great American Family, but that wasn't what was happening behind closed doors.  The gift of that time is that it provided me with empathy, wisdom and experience to help others avoid the same pitfalls in their relationships I experienced, and help them climb out of deep holes they might not know how to do otherwise.

I've been blessed with a life full of experiences, and a rich journey along the way.  My road has brought me to a place now where I'm a relationship educator, a conflict resolution specialist, an ordained interfaith minister and owner of four businesses with my husband.  As an interfaith minister I'm educated in a variety of different religious traditions and am open and accepting of all.

In addition to educating and mediating, you can find me performing ceremonies from birth (baptisms, dedications, blessings) to weddings, vow renewals, commitment ceremonies and end of life services.

On a personal note, I'm married, a mom to two amazing grown men, have two grandchildren, and adore my life with our three dogs Tucker, Tucson, and Lilly.  My husband and I own Basswood Chalet & Guesthouse, a couples retreat home nestled in the woods and marshlands of New Auburn, Wisconsin. Cooking is a passion of mine, and food equals love in my family.  Whenever possible, I love to travel to warm, watery, tropical places; especially the Caribbean.

For those who like to know such things, my undergrad degree was earned at Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, Minnesota. I earned my Bachelor degree in Individualized Studies with double minors in Adult Training & Development as well as Religious Studies. I then followed that up by earning my certification in Conflict Resolution Studies from Hamline Law School's Dispute Resolution Institute. The following month I began seminary, and after another two years of study, was ordained as an interfaith minister.  Most recently I've received my certificate in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion from Cornell University.

I am co-President of the Chippewa Valley Wedding and Event Professionals" group locally, where wedding and event professionals come together to learn, grow and network with each other. I am a member of Polka Dot Powerhouse, an international connection company for women that uplifts and supports women to be all they wish to be and truly is a sisterhood. WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

"Awareness and problem-solving will help in the future. Being aware of our love languages have already completely changed our relationship, which is crazy given we've been together for 9 years already. Now I understand her better and what she needs."

"I have a better understanding and framework of how to go about filling his love bank other than just the usual ways."
